Thank you all for the amazing support for Waiheke Through the Looking Glass– Frankie and Lincoln for sharing their own songs, Nora, Lincoln, Rob, Adrienne, and Ruth and Merran for embodying the characters in Alice at the Local Board, Alan Knight for sharing his comedic vision of Waiheke, Merran for MCing with grace and keeping everyone in stitches and of course Warwick who brought his charm to add a special touch to the event. And also that wouldn’t be possible without Hue to set up, Lisa and Flynn on the door, Ping Ursula, Els, Annie and Wendy helping out on the nights – and Flynn’s cookies. Thanks for the lovely reviews Sue and Kristina. And mostly thank you Waiheke for coming out and enjoying a taste of Waiheke talent, and to those of you who came to support the campaign. After the last costs are paid, we expect to have raised just over $1,000 for billboards and advertising for Shirin’s Election Campaign. Lastly thanks for making it a really memorable community event – it’s certainly making the process of standing for the Board quite uplifting.
