• Advocating for a visitor tax to manage the infrastructure we need for the island.
• Working towards an active transport friendly island and improving transport choices and safety.
• Addressing the range of accommodation issues on the island (affordable housing through to retrofitting homes).
• Working for greater visibility of culture and the arts.
• Supporting small business and social enterprise development for meaningful work opportunities.
• Questioning the TPPA and speaking out to make sure we protect government contracts and the needs of small and medium businesses.
• Ensuring that Waiheke remains Kauri Dieback free and work towards a pest free Waiheke.
• Working towards food, transport and energy security.
• Advocacy for the Inner Gulf and kaitiakitangi of the people,  land and sea resources, particularly in the use of public space.
• Working on relationships, transparency of decision-making and inclusivity so we work together as a board, building strong relationships with CCOs and community stakeholders.
