Hi Shirin, have read up on your website and am curious like a lot of people as to where were you born, where did you come from and what were you doing before you arrived in NZ?
Life before New Zealand
I was born in Iran, my mother is Indian and my father is British. I grew up in Europe (France and Belgium mostly) and went to University in the North of England where I got a degree in Philosophy and Psychology. I then became an English language teacher, then teacher trainer, and director of teacher training in various countries – mostly Spain, The Czech Republic, Japan and New Zealand, but also India, Australia and Fiji before moving to Waiheke in 2002 where I had both my children. Along the way I got a Masters in Educational Management.
